thanks a lot,i m going to do Cobra,now i want ur some more suggestions because i dont feel pain while sitting it is only when i stand more than 2-3 hours and i feel pain radiating into the right side of the hip and down the right leg.i hope u will advise me.
YES! It’s not only a “good” exercise but it can save your life. The Cobra position CAN push the disc back in the middle. It needs to be done w/ repetition the rest of your life. TRUST me. Do several times a day for the rest of your life. Sitting is your enemy – decrease your sitting time tremendously. Control weight, eliminate bending forward, and do cobra for the rest of your life. If your physical therapist did not teach you this exercise for your discs then find another physical therapist.
i have herniated disks l4-l5 and l5-s1.could u tell me please if this exercise is good for me?
If you have history of herniated disks or have a seated job do this exercise everyday the rest of your life. It can keep you out of surgery. Cobra is the number one exercise for bulging disks – do them everyday !!!!!
